Dominant Reading
The dominant reading for this advert is that Reebok clothing is for everyone, as the cover star for this advert is ""50-Cent," a world renowned rapper who people have respect for and it is because of this the producers may have chosen 50 to be in this advert so that people see him and want to wear Reebok to be like their idol as much as possible as most people may not be able to be shot 9 times, just like 50 Cent, but they can wear the same clothes as the man.

Negotiated Reading
The negotiated reading for this advert is that everyone can wear and afford clothing by Reebok, even people who have come from difficult and harsh backgrounds, an example of these people being 50-Cent, someone who may not have had the money to purchase the luxuries that he does today. However, some individuals within the audience may believe that this advertisement isn't appropriate for Reebok as a clothing brand as it promotes the gang violence and activity that 50-Cent was involved in during his past life as it glamorizes it and makes it seem that if you do the things that 50-Cent did then you will be a rich and famous actor/rapper.

Oppositional Reading
The opposed reading may be that the audience could believe that the glamorised lifestyle of 50-Cent is the only way for people without any contacts to get exposure for their material, whether that be music or even ones acting portfolio. This therefore paints a bad name for Reebok as a respected brand as some people may avoid the brand, knowing that they work with people who may be considered "thugs" and "hood rats."
