Connotation - The use of having a well known and famous star such as David Beckham being the focus of the advert helps show to us the reader that this advert is for everyone as everyone knows David Beckham. And the use of him showing passion and being quite passionate makes us the viewer understand how much this means to him and we comprehend how much we love him for this therefore the words on the advert mean so much more. The use of words tend to have a better impact as the passion that Beckham shows in the picture correlates to the words that are written.

Denotation - David Beckham shouting and getting into the game wearing a football kit a with a passage of writing in front telling the readers impossible is nothing.

Colour - the adverts colours are quite bright and main colour being which may represent the colour and idea of hope which is frequently linked to the colour white as well as the bright colours emphasises the idea of this advert being true.

Pose - David Beckham stands in a passionate and intense way which creates the idea that he is also passionate about the writing Adidas have out in front of him.

Lighting - The image is taken in a stadium with Beckham either celebrating or cheering to the crowd which creates a passionate atmosphere. the bright lighting creates a positive atmosphere and there helps show to the reader that this is a positive advert.

Composition - This advert is made with a real life picture of David Beckham in a stadium cheering or becoming quite intense in a football match and a passage of writing that in directed at the audience to motive their readers and therefore make them feel as though they need to do something.
