Connotation - 50 cent is providing the viewers of this advert with special quotes and shows his background and what he lives by for example "where i am from there is no plan B" this quote shows to the reader that he follows certain believes that he doesn't change for anyone. The idea of 50 cent being the centre of the media text makes the viewers want to aspire to be like him therefore the use of showing what he follows makes the audience want to incorporate that into their own life to be like 50 cent.

Denotation - The Media Text also uses creates certain ideologies that make us the viewer and readers question our ideologies and methods of living to be more alike a mega star such as 50 cent by copying some of his aspects of his life such as his ways of living.  The denotation is male black man wearing a hat staring at the camera.

Colour - The use of colour or the lack of colour makes the viewers question as they have an idea of the struggle that 50 cent has been through and some form of trauma he has been through and this therefore makes the audience intrepid as he has seen a lot and has been through a lot.

Pose - The producer has intentionally had 50 cent stand at a angle to create a idea of him going through a lot and therefore makes an idea of him going through a struggle. This also makes it harder for us the viewer to feel sorry and therefore makes it hard for us to feel a sense of sympathy due to his strong persona.

Framing - The image takes up half of the page so we know its equally important to the text on the left. The inspirational quote is reflecting the life of 50 cent so the text and image work and in hand together to paint the poster.

The use of the quote and text makes us the reader feel as though that 50 cent has been through a struggle and has therefore been through a lot which makes us feel a sense of sympathy and has also been through a majority of a hard life which makes us feel a connection with 50 cent and feel as though we need to do something such as go and buy a Reebok good.
