1) What type of text is it?

The text I have chosen is a television advert that created large controversy towards is due to its ideology and denotation.

2) How do you know? What are the key conventions that allowed you to identify the text?

The Key Conventions of this advert is the use of star power as having a major fashion icon in Kendall Jenner in advert creates a large amount of publicity for Pepsi as well as the use of having Pepsi being shown several times throughout the advert clearly follows key conventions throughout the advert.

3) In your opinion, who is the target audience for this media text?

The target audience for the advert is for teenagers to young adults as that is the target audience for the fashion icon Kendall Jenner who is very recognizable across those ages so Popsi uses her publicity to her demographic age and target audience.

4) How would this audience access the text? E.g. where/when would they consume it? Using what device?

This Media text would be consumed all over the internet whether that be on their phone, laptop as kendall jenner being so big on social media anyone can consume this advert on the internet as she can case a large majority of active users on social media to look at the advert.

5) What values, ideologies, and beliefs in society are reinforced or challenged in this media text?

One ideology is the reinforcement of protests and rally brings the community together and that the fight as one as well as the advert is contervisial as the police are aimed to be the bad people in this advert due to them stopping the protest until Kendall Jenner joins in and offers a pepsi towards one of them.
